Senior Private Client Fee Earner – Harrowells

Our Private Client team are looking for an experienced Fee Earner.  The team is one of the largest in the region and a significant proportion of our caseload is through repeat business and personal recommendation. We cover all types of Private Client work and our client base is varied, including a number of successful, family-owned businesses and high net worth individuals.

We would love to hear from you if you have a solid background in Private Client, ideally with exposure to more complex caseloads.  Our team are very friendly and supportive and will help you hit the ground running.

We are flexible on location but some time in our city centre office initially while you get to know us and our ways of working would be helpful.  We know a work life balance is very important so we are more than happy to be flexible over working hours if this is needed.

What the role will involve:

You can really make the role your own but will have the opportunity to work on a range of matters including:

  • Estate planning
  • Drafting wills
  • Administration of trusts
  • Non-contentious probate and administration
  • Lasting and enduring powers of attorneys

We can also offer the chance  to be more involved in the management side of the team, working closely with the Head of,  and helping support our more junior team members through mentoring if this is something that you would be keen to develop.

What we are looking for:

We need someone who will fit in well with our existing team and develop a great relationship with our clients. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A good range of solid Private Client experience – ideally 5 years + PQE
  • A positive, commercial approach to delivering legal advice
  • The ability to develop a good rapport with clients
  • Superb levels of client care
  • Some experience in successful Business Development and Marketing initiatives
